Privacy policy
Darsgah is software that online academies use to run classes. This page says what we keep, why, who can see it and when it is deleted. We keep the minimum, especially about children.

Who is responsible
Each academy decides who it teaches and why it keeps the records. Darsgah runs the system for the academy and looks after the data on its servers. If you have a question about your own or your child's data, ask your academy first. For questions about the platform, write to shahiraza022@gmail.com.
What we keep
- Students: name, age group, time zone and the guardian's contact details. No photos, no school name and no home address.
- Guardians: name, email or WhatsApp number and country. They do not have a login.
- Teachers and staff: name, email or username, time zone and availability.
- Classes: the schedule, who joined and when (attendance), and the audio recording of the class when recording is on.
- Messages: the chat during a class and private messages between people of the same academy (a teacher and their students, or an admin and anyone). Students cannot message each other privately.
- Fees: fee plans, invoices and payments the academy records, including a payment proof picture if the academy uploads one.
- Books: PDF files the academy uploads to its library.
There is no camera and no video. Classes are audio only. We do not use advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not sell data.
Consent for recording, chat and AI review
Before a child is recorded, the academy's admin asks the guardian on the admission call and ticks a consent box in the system. We save who recorded it, when, and which wording was agreed. Without that consent a student is not recorded and is not sent to the Safety Guard.
Teachers are told that classes are recorded: a notice in the teacher portal and a "This class is recorded" banner in the class room. The academy also explains it in the teacher's contract.
Who can see recordings and chat
- Only the academy owner and admins can listen to recordings and read class chat or private messages of students. Every time they do, it is written in an audit log.
- Recordings are stored in a private place. They are played through links that stop working after a few minutes.
- The people who run the platform cannot open an academy's recordings, transcripts or chat as a normal thing. In an emergency they must write a reason, get access for about 30 minutes, and the academy owner sees a notice on the dashboard. All of it is logged.
How long we keep it
Recordings, transcripts, class chat and private messages are deleted automatically after the academy's retention time. The default is 30 days. An academy can choose a shorter time, or a longer one if its plan allows. An admin can also delete a recording earlier.
Backups: our server host takes copies of the whole server, and we make our own database backups. A deleted recording or message can stay inside a backup for a limited time before the backup itself is replaced. Backups are not used for anything else.
Records the academy needs for its business, such as invoices, are kept until the academy deletes them or the academy account is closed.
Services that help us run the app
We share data only with the services that make the app work:
- LiveKit carries the live audio, chat and book pages while a class is running. It is not used to keep recordings.
- OpenAI turns class audio into text and reads the text for the Safety Guard. This happens only for classes where consent was given.
- An error-monitoring service (Sentry) may receive technical error reports with personal data switched off.
- Our server host (Hostinger) in the United Kingdom runs the servers where the data is stored.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the app needs: one to keep you logged in and one to remember your theme (light or dark). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
A guardian or adult user can ask the academy to show, correct or delete their data, or to stop recording a child. The academy can do this in the system. If you cannot reach your academy, write to us and we will pass it on.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell academies.
